Description
The Toronto City Hall or New City Hall is the home of the municipal government of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and one of the city's most distinctive landmarks. Unfortunately, it is now more well known because of Rob Ford's antics as mayor of Toronto, or as he is more commonly known, "Toronto's crack smoking mayor." Designed by Finnish architect Viljo Revell (and landscape architect Richard Strong, the building opened in 1965. In this drawing, I wanted to show the dramatic view as you approach City Hall from Queen Street, with the arch (there are three of them though only one is seen here) leading the eye over the pool.
