Description
The Toronto City Hall or New City Hall is the home of the municipal government of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and one of the city's most distinctive landmarks. Unfortunately, it is probably more well known now because people recognize it because of Rob Ford's antics as mayor of Toronto, or as he is more commonly know, "Toronto's crack smoking mayor." Designed by Finnish architect Viljo Revell (with Heikki Castrn, Bengt Lundsten, Seppo Valjus) and landscape architect Richard Strong, and engineered by Hannskarl Bandel, the building opened in 1965.
